BCHA was created in 1996 after tenants voted overwhelmingly to transfer from Walsall Council to run their own affairs.

All BCHA tenants receive quarterly newsletters along with their quarterly rent statement. The Association recognises that its long term success will be determined by its business viability and the attractiveness of Beechdale as a place to live for families and individuals. To ensure community sustainability of Beechdale, BCHA will provide quality homes and related services, and will join with residents and local organisations to promote a range of community amenities in a safe and attractive environment.

Working for the Whole Community

BCHA took the lead in bringing together local residents, schools, the police, church, community association, local businesses and other voluntary projects to create the Beechdale Regeneration Partnership. BRP is working to improve local services and bring additional resources to Beechdale so that it provides a safe and attractive environment for all local people.
